of Engadget, but he uses a Hotmail address and his email (obviously)
isn't signed, so who knows what sort of cunning spear phishing trap
this may be...

Hey Noisebridge!
Dustin Burg here, social media and event outreach for  Engadget
Expand. I wanted to send a personal invitation to members of
Noisebridge to submit their tech or gadget inventions to the Insert
Coin: New Challengers competition. An event that aims to discover and
help fund the best tech inventions created by makers, hackers and
DIYers.

As I mentioned, the competition will be a part of Engadget Expand, an
upcoming two day tech conference for gadget enthusiasts that's taking
place March 16-17, 2013 in San Francisco. Our goal with Insert Coin:
New Challengers is to bring Engadget's Insert Coin series - a weekly
column that highlights the latest in crowd-funded tech projects - to
the Expand stage and help fund idea development. After we whittle down
entries through a voting process in the months ahead, the finalists
will present their invention on the Expand stage for attendees and our
panel of judges to vote on. The winner will walk away with a $20,000
investment and a product review on Engadget.com. Not bad!

There's no cost to enter, we just want to find awesome tech/gadget
inventions, and I figured Noisebridge would be full of amazing
projects. If you could share this news with your members and point
them to the links below, it'd be  greatly appreciated:
