You might look into the project of a friend of mine
http://www.stonekeep.com/congo
I haven't kept up with the project but it looks to be live and
semi-open-source. I see in the license "If an organization is identified by
Stonekeep Consulting as a purely Fandom organization, they have the right
to download, compile, modify, and use CONGO and it's source code..."
It might be easy to convince Dave (the creator) to open up to your thang...
