Ronald .. a good friend of mine is Jewish, like me.   His grandfather
was tortured and barely survived in WWII at a concentration camp.   He
has a swastika tattooed on his wrist, with the slogan "Never Forget."
under it.  On his shoulder, where you wouldn't see it normally, is a
star of david and the number his grandfather was branded with

Now, if you didn't know him, what would you assume about the tattoo?

Sometimes, it helps to dig a bit deeper.   Symbols, even hated ones,
are nothing without context.
