(cross-posted on dorkbot)

I've been stumped for a while trying to understand the math/notation
involved in communications equalizers. I need to understand this stuff for
a Burning Man project I'm working on -- so I need some tutoring and am
happy to pay for it.

This paper covers the topics I'd like to understand (MMSE/LMS/DFE
equalizers)

Ideally some Noisebridge folks are actually interested in
refreshing/mastering this stuff themselves, otherwise if you're just good
at this stuff (signal processing and/or math) and looking to earn some
mula please let me know.

Cheers,

-Dan
