Adding the drama tag.

Tony emailed Leif and I with an alternative theory of why he was asked to
leave. Apparently (as explained below) Leif is an agent of an ongoing plan
by Google and other tech firms to take over Noisebridge, as with the rest
of the city. The coup apparently involves an "ethnic cleansing" of
Noisebridge. I may be reading this wrong, but the correspondence below
should spell it out in Tony's own words.

(I think it's going to be a bit of a tough row to hoe to suggest that me,
Leif, and/or Tom are working for Google and a sinister corporatist techno
elite. I work for the EFF, Tom works for Tor, and Leif works on
Tahoe-LAFS. Though thinking about it I guess we are all, in some way,
working for Big Crypto.)

This is what I meant by saying my patience for dealing with certain people
in the space has now reached a limit. If your model of how Noisebridge, and
the world, works means that you think being asked to leave Noisebridge
because you trapped yourself in a tiny room you know full well you're not
supposed to be in, and almost killing yourself in the process, is, in fact,
a final damning indicator that your local hackerspace is being taken over
from its rightful inhabitants by ... technologists... I'm kind of at a
loss. It's sort of like declaring that when you were asked to leave the
library because of that time you built a lean-to out of the magazine racks
and tried to kindle a make-shift campfire out of the dictionaries, the
*real* reason was because of those bastard archivists and their
pro-literacy agenda.

This sounds serious. Do you mind if I mail your first message (or any of
the rest of them, up to you), to noisebridge-discuss?
