miloh is right.  when the electricity stops flowing it stops xraying, like 
a microwave oven.  its exposure timer maxes out at 5 seconds.

also, we don't need to phear its invisible emanations.  we can use geiger 
counters to check if it is somehow spraying xrays through its lead casing 
in the wrong direction.

1mm thick lead will stop 99.99% of its rays.  (nothing stops 100%)
