I read the first topic from the meeting notes regarding fruit flies and 
pesticides. When I solved the problem last year, it was done with jars 
of Apple Cider Vinegar, a few drops of dish soap, and some fruit. I used 
orange slices but bananas would work better. I also borrowed the 
hose/water from the market downstairs and washed out the cans.

The method takes about a week to reach 100%, but it is totally effective 
and a great hack.
