Snail, Thank you for reminding me of the lovable Ferengi, Quark the bar keeper of DS9, who won my heart every time he made a sacrifice disguised as self interest, as is ferungi custom. All despite his objectification of Dax and Kira.
Jim, I cannot wait to meet ya at the bridge some day to understand your critique of the anti harassment policy. I will try not to laugh when I hear female uttered.
I have nothing constrictive to add besides I prefer the pronouns; fellas, fellows and the gender neutral, fellers.

But if we don't continue this on-list, who will fuel https://twitter.com/noisebridge_txt ???
[note: I still do not know who runs noisebridge_txt - I suspect it is someone who doesn't actively write to the list]
I can consider the conversation finished, however, if you would prefer.

also, I'm replying directly to you, not
to burden the list further.

JS; that's what you're hearing. You're not
hearing me in that respect.

JS: I have my reasons and you haven't asked
and likely don't care. I'm not familiar with
misogynistic cultures and do not to become
so. Don't think that I am mysogyistic: you
don't know me at all.

JS: I suspect this is unpleasant. I won't
watch it (I don't watch youtube stuff
anyway).

JS: I think there are dangers to formality,
as I've written. Certainly we should help
others who have problems. Why do you not
acknowledge this aspect of my writing?
> just because you believe that maybe sometimes we're too harsh on

JS: I think this has been the case.

JS: I do not have enough facts. I suspect that
you (and others who participated) are correct.
I refuse to judge without knowing facts;
one of my problems with the formalities of
community is the sublime pressures that prod
one to "go along to get along".

JS: I no longer believe that you're open to
my point of view; I think you want to see
me as <fill_in_your_preferred_word>.
I'll reply to anything you write to me.
