Um, what? I think this is one of the few occasions I've seen in
hackerdom where it's Jim's POV that's been roundly criticized, not
what everyone else is said. And a few people chiming in on a thread
aren't "everybody", not by a long chalk.

I'm also really not okay with the concept of ideas being deigned
"actively harmful". Jim can say what he wants. His dumber ideas aren't
going to physically set anybody on fire here.

I hope you were trying to say something else here.
