Jeffrey,

thanks! yeah, I like git and version control.  I'd like to eventually do
non coding stuff with it, like writing a book, etc. but i see what you mean
about binary files.

Dropbox costs money.

on github, as long as the repo isn't private then it's not costing us
anything.
