[Noisebridge-discuss] Positive Noisebridge experiences this week

Well it is the same stuff that burns out volunteers at non profits, churches and hackers paces everywhere. I have burned out on punk squats, art groups, and other hacker spaces. I burned out volunteering at art collectives in Oakland a few years ago. 

Jake wrote a very good post on hacker space burn out which should be reposted

I also decided to come more often after I learned about the new night policy. 
The docent is there more often. 
I feel like when I come to noise bridge people are hacking more and it's safer. 

We are all creative people, and we do not naturally fit into things like group sports or activist political groups. I think those kinds of collectives are great but do well with herds. 

All these independent bright and creative people burn out when too much group collective thought is pressed on us. 

I started coming back to noisebridge more often and it makes me happier. I'm hacking more and spending less energy avoiding creepy people. :)
