[Noisebridge-discuss] Dedicated 3D printing machine?

Today I'll be putting all my effort into crapping out a windows machine
in the hopes it can be dedicated to 3D printing. That or maybe just
plop ubuntu on it, leave the password & see if tonight's LUG can take a
look at it & set up serial, especially over USB which my Ubuntu 13.04
chromebook just doesn't want to work with. I'll be gone (hotel key
trading sequence w/ gf) so I can't join in.

Anyways, What's up with the mac near the 2D printer? Is it cool to pull
parts from or does it have a dedicated purpose, or perhaps an easy fix?
It's set there like it's meant to do something but the webcam's gone &
it just turns on & off...
