Subject: [EFM] Electronics Flea Market - Saturday, September 14th
Date: Tue, 10 Sep 2013 16:33:09 -0700 (PDT)

The Electronics Flea Market (EFM)
(http://www.electronicsfleamarket.com/) at De Anza College is
scheduled for this Saturday, September 14th from 5:00 AM 'til noon.

The EFM is in lot B this month year, under the solar panels.
Sellers enter the usual way on Stelling and head to the lot B
vendor area. Buyers can park in lot C, lot B and some of lot A.

All regular parking on campus is available to buyers
at $3 for the day. Avoid staff and visitor parking,
and of course handicapped parking requires the proper permit.

Your host and beneficiary for this month's market is the
Foothills Amateur Radio Society
More information and directions may be found at
the Electronics Flea Market web site at
http://www.electronicsfleamarket.com/

Note that the Electronics Flea Market is not affiliated
with De Anza college or the De Anza Student Body flea
market that takes place on the first Saturday of the month.
The Electronics Flea Market is on the second Saturday.

The weather for the flea market is predicted to be warm.
The early morning will be a bit chilly, but the morning
and afternoon will be quite nice. Be sure to wear your
sun protection. The expected low is 59F and the high is 83F.
Sunrise is 6:49 am.

We remind attendees that NO eWaste is to be disposed
in the trash or left at the Electronics Flea Market site.
          Please visit http://www.electronicsfleamarket.com/recycle
for information on what constitutes eWaste and
          how to recycle it.

Please take your cardboard with you when you leave.
There is simply too much of it being left at the flea market.
Do not leave it in the trash or in piles near the trash cans.
If you must leave cardboard, please break it down
and stack in a neat pile by the port-a-potties.

We appreciate your help in leaving the flea market site
as clean as you found it.

These flea markets are organized by ASVARO
(Association of Silicon Valley Amateur Radio Organizations
http://www.asvaro.org/) as a fund raising activity
for local amateur radio organizations.

Note that the vendor fee is $20 for two parking spaces.
The fee is collected upon entry. Each seller space
is two consecutive parking spaces with the same painted number.
Note that the handful of 3-space spots are priced at $30.
Please ask the gate volunteer if you want one of these
50% larger spots. Each seller should bring a completed form
BOE-410-D unless you submitted one previously.
Check the seller tab on he web site for details.

Buyers enter the market for free, but the college charges $3
to park on campus. Most off campus parking is restricted
and is not recommended.
