[Noisebridge-discuss] Weev Conviction Overturned

Today an appeals court overturned Weev's conviction!

On the other hand.... Weev did sit in jail for over a year. Overturning the
decision now doesn't give him that year back. Likewise, Barrett Brown is
STILL sitting in jail even though most charges against him have been
dropped.


(I remember a Friday afternoon at Noisebridge when my Kickstarter ended
successfully. I had a bottle of champagne to celebrate. It was early
afternoon and noone wanted more than a sip... So Weev and I drank the whole
thing :) )
