Don't get me wrong, I'm totally cool with removing the moderate bit and
letting the messages through if things are actually going on. It sounds to
me like there's inconsistent, sometimes stale and confusing information out
there as to whether the event(s) are actually happening.

So cool, if it's actually still going on, then I'll flip the bit off. :-)
