Hey Samir,

Great question! I'm rushing with an answer.

Accent is not something you loose, it's something you learn. The fact that
you practice pronouncing English correctly does not mean you loose the
ability to speak with your mother-tongue inhabited accent. Phonetics is a
broad field of language studies, but in practical terms it very often comes
down to long hours of training.

Answering the question:

I want to create an environment where people would be able to practice
speaking English correctly and in understandable fashion. Being married to
a native speaker and working in an office environment myself, I do know how
lack of understandable pronunciation might be a problem. And even more in
social gathering situations.

There are professional workshops and one-on-one practice sessions out
there, but they are usually highly overbooked and are pretty expensive. I
want to create alternative, open workshop, where myself and other people
like me can work on improving their English.

Having that said, I am not a professional in this field myself and I am
more aiming towards organizing sort of a study group.
