[Noisebridge-discuss] Gamebridge?

Wow, this is so distant from the ground truth that I've observed that I am compelled to comment.

Every interaction I have had with Alex has been positive. I have often seen him in Code Hero sessions at Noisebridge. He has practiced coding with my friends children, and I have only heard good things.

Finally, Alex's commercial endevors/responsibilities are not related to his ability to train teachers or teach students at Noisebridge in my mind.

And I'm sure Alex would like to teach more people Unity so he can sucker them into working on his Code Hero project for free. Or maybe for a paycheck that never actually gets written.

Alex has a long trail of alienated and pissed-off former colleagues behind him. I'm surprised he has the nerve to come back to Noisebridge for fresh meat to chew up and spit out. "Code Hero" wasn't even his first scam (see also: the Facebook page full of "where's my refund?" comments for tactical corsets)

I've been away lately and I'd like to teach more teachers to teach Unity so there's a pool of mentors. Anybody interested in teaching Unity or who would like to learn in order to be able to teach can get in touch with me. Thanks,

Alex

Is the Unity classes still going on? If so, what day and time? Im very interested in making content with Unity and my kid is interested in games as well, maybe break him in the logical thinking of programming. Or are there anything related to programming for Android thats going on @ Noisebridge?

Apologies to all if I'm mischaracterizing here, but I'm pretty sure the 'kids' class would be taught with unity-- it's a very friendly programming experience. Maybe a non-sequitur, but I'd love to know more about unity's mobile utilities--there's a lot of room to screw that up. -dru

Ah unfortunately those Saturday programming classes are for kids. I'm looking for some more Unity based or even mobile.

Anyone on the list experienced in Unity?
