Food for community space is a great thing.

Examples that I have enjoyed are vegan hacking, godwaffles, and other
random cooking events.

Any foodstuffs should be in properly labeled containers, sealed and
accessible to pests. I don't have any such jars, nor a shelf to put
them on. Maybe someone else does.

As for water for consumption (including cooking), a reverse osmosis or
berkey can remove the added chemicals such as chloramines, fluoride,
organofluorines, and other unregulated chemicals and drugs. Some of
these, have chronic and cumulative effects that are not immediately
noticeable, and interact synergistically with other things we
encounter, particularly aluminum, to dumb us down.
