Welcome to the 2014 Noisebridge Reboot.

As we prepare for the Reboot, it will fall upon many of you to
Actually Do a Thing.

This email deals with one such important thing: the Project Shelves,
or "member shelves" are as they are often known.

The TL;DR of this email is this: if you have STUFF on these shelves,
come pick it up and take it away as soon as possible. See Explanation
below.

The DEADLINE for this action will be June 30th.

Any STUFF left behind during the Reboot will be set aside and possibly
locked into a box containing a Tesla coil which will be programmed to
activate whenever someone wonders whether their stuff is in the box.

After the Reboot we will have the STUFF set aside for people to
recover if they missed the deadline. We'll hold on to it for another 3
months, at which time it may become E-waste.

If you need help liberating your stuff from its shelfy confines,
perhaps because your meat avatar would take 16 hours to transport to
Noisebridge, please let me or Daravinne know. We'll collect such
requests and bring them to the next Tuesday meeting, where operators
will be standing by.

Oh, and we make no guarantees about the actual existence or condition
of your stuff as it is right now. Time has not been kind to the
project shelves.

EXPLANATION:

There's a significant amount of electrical safety work that needs to
happen in the vicinity of the project shelves / member shelves.

Also, the shelves themselves have become rickety and frankly a danger
in and of themselves. Someone uncovered an actual rats' nest at one
point. It's clear that the project shelves have been left in disarray
for quite a long while.

As such, we're going to take this opportunity to completely do away
with the old shelves and replace them with SOULLESS STEEL CUBES of
varying shapes and sizes.

Once again, if you have any questions, comments, or swear words about
the actions planned herein, feel free to reply to me personally or to
this mailing list post.

Cheers,
Naomi
