Al, this is an example of you assuming I am insincere when I say things.

1) saying "Historical stuff is fun" is the sort of thing you say when
you want the OP to be not taken seriously.    I sincerely wanted to
know whether Adrian was trying to dismiss this thread as something not
to be taken seriously.

2) Working groups, perhaps?

I didn't think I could be more clear when I said "just something to
ponder"... I definitely wasn't putting this up as:  OMG YOU GUYS
FIDONET HAD IT FIGURED OUT!!!!!
