Here's one: off-load more decisions to interest groups and
special-purpose teams.
-Interest groups:
-Electronics group
-Dirty shop group
-Special-purpose teams:
-Docents
-Mediation/Banning
-New members
In the interest of experimentation, let each group determine their own
structure and process. Ensure transparency to prevent corruption.
Each group and team elects or appoints a representative for transparent
but small org-wide meetings.
As Senate pointed out, Consensus is ill-equipped for large groups. The
above structure would create many small groups, each of which could, if
they choose, operate by consensus. This, as Dana recommended, honors
prior NB methods.
