Seconded on "Keyboard/HID" potential vector way more likely than BIOS...

I've seen some really wierdlystrange FnordedErisian stunts done in BIOS as
"Gaslighing" psych warfare, and.. also in a USB Device crafted to wreak
havoc of such as you describe. The BIOS deal was a reboot at a power saving
timer offset or some similar childishness. It had been done to a Social
Services =food pantry presumably by someone disgruntled with a ton of time
to Be Very Evil.

We saw one K&M Ghost device blobulated into an USB Board Header thence
hidden on the Mobo where it randomly issued #making you think you are now
delusional# stunts. IIRC that they later on became a stupidly
unfunny commercial pranker toy and yeah- looked for it to find THIS:

It would be not unthinkable that someone might do one of this evil category
that issued some defined hotkeys.

I am rather grim and humorless of such garbage and I devoutly hope perps
that place such unfunny evils in the wild shall speedily ..reincarnate as
a Urinal Mint, if you can forgive my being overly kind to them ..
