[Noisebridge-discuss] Would it be ok to host regular meetings to work on UAVs?

Greetings Everyone,

It's been a while since I've been to noisebridge so let me introduce myself. I go by Alan and I spent some time at noisebridge last year building a landboard (for windsurfing on land) using only parts from local hardware stores. I work as a software engineer and I'm particularly interested in robotics.

I'm going to be working on building a quadcopter from the ground up, and I was wondering if I could invite people from the local community to get together regularly at noisebridge to work on our vehicles and learn from eachother. This would of course be open to anyone who is interested, and I plan on documenting my work and open-sourcing any code I write.

I wish I could give an estimate of how many people would come, but I have no idea since I'm just getting into the community and I wanted to ask noisebridge first.

Would such a group be welcome at noisebridge?

If so, would anyone object to hosting it on thursdays from 8-10?

I'm familiar with and plan to follow the guidlines on hosting events at noisebridge. I'll be at tomorrow's meeting in case anyone would like to discuss this with me in person.

Cheers,
Alan
