I don't think "less passion" OR "more money" apply to Noisebridge right now.

It's interesting watching people theorize about what's going on within
the group based on what they read on the mailing list or maybe the odd
drop-in from time to time.

What I observe is that there's a small but growing group of very
passionate folks who are trying to make an honest go at understanding
all of the (rather difficult) constraints of running an open-access
hackerspace in a busy eclectic cultural center like the Mission, in
the face of huge wealth and class disparities.

Perhaps others would say "we've been through all this before."
Perhaps the answer is, "we have to keep going through this."
