Hello! I’m a photographer from Finland and coming to San Francisco with a journalist Ruut Tolonen in September 16th-27th. We’ll write articles about environment related topics and one point of view is how wearable tech could help people for more sustainable lifestyles (encourage, help measure, simplify). Have you seen something like that being made in your makerspace? Or do you know someone who could have something like it in process? We are interested in ready products (like Zackees turn sign gloves for bikers I saw on the internet) but also something people have built just for themselves, like on demo or ideas level. It feels that the makerspaces in Bay Area could be full of people with great new ideas and skills. Or do you know if there are makerspaces specialized in improving eco/green lifestyles with the tech aspect?
