Good Morning!

We should have an excellent booth for MakerFaire this year.  I have
developed a concept for this year and outlined and documented it on the
wiki page here:

Thursday evenings 19:00 - 22:00, untill MakerFaire 2015, I will be coming
into Noisebridge to work on our booth for MakerFaire,.. and I would love to
have help.

Tonight at 19:00 I will be in to start gathering ideas and purchasing
equipment for this project. One of the things being built is a table with a
light up Noisebridge logo in the surface, (the drawings are on the wiki
page). I'm expecting some sort of LED strip light that is encased in resin
with the various electronics inside the table. I am very interested in how
this can be done and what components to pick up; resins, LED strip lights
and/or alternatives, controllers, power supplies, etc. I will be
researching this, but any direction in this matter is appreciated. More
information regarding the design intent is on the plans on the wiki, Detail
8 on the working drawings in particular, ideas are also welcome.

Next Thursday I plan to start testing the resin / LED detailing.
