Hei, Noisebridge!
We're busy hacking away on fundraising bits. This, of course, involves a bunch
of parties at the space which are coming up realsoonnow.
Hooray parties, right?!
You know what would be better than a party at Noisebridge? Why, a party that
brings in a bunch of cash that goes towards rent! And bills! And nice things
like that!
Wouldn't that be grand?
Right, so, in order to /actually/ make that money thing happen, we need a
bunch of chipper and cheery personalities with happy shiny faces who can sell
donations and talk up the crowd. If you've worked in retail or marketing or
other equally persuasive means of employ, you should totally ping me.
I want to talk to you.
I want to have a deep and meaningful conversation with you about the parties
that are coming up, how we can actually accept money IRL, why money is an
artificial construct created by society that we all assign value to by way of
inscrutable social contracts, how to chat up donors, and probably have a beer
or two. If you don't drink thats fine, I'll have yours.
AT ANY RATE:
If you're thinking of coming to a Noisebridge party in the near future and
think you can fleece people down for cash, you should do so! Even better, you
should let me know so I can have a list of people I can bug when a party comes
around. And I'll teach you in the ways of swiping bits of plastic through
other bits of plastic plugged into expensive slabs of plastic and glass.
