Hey folks,
  Got some working laptops to donate to NB here.  Some are dual-core machines of the vista variety, others are strong xp pentium 4 machines.  good for running code and such and I'm trying to find out the best way they could be used at NB.  Perhaps we could lock some to desks?  or have a check out system ?  Or I could just hand them off to trustworthy people.   Please share thoughts.  They will need hard drives and OS install which I could do if people can donate the hard drives (ebay has 100GB drives for ~$15 each for example, or 60GB for even less).  I imagine people will want to put linux on them though.
