[Noisebridge-discuss] Noisebridge-discuss Digest, Vol 93, Issue 6

Hello Jehan.

As far as I know, the Tuesday meetings and discussion list are still
the official communication channels for Noisebridge. No one needs to
be on Slack to participate in the goings on at Noisebridge.

Slack is a do-ocratic tool which some, including myself, use. It
worked well as a quick option for communications during the reboot and
we've kept going with it for now. A good deal of communication and
organization happens on Slack, but whatever happens on Slack
eventually makes its way to the meetings and discussion list to be
officially recognized.

You would not be the only one to reject using Slack for Noisebridge
related communications, and that is perfectly fine. I think some of
the Slack users also share your dislike of Slack and would also like
to move to something else.

I think we also have an IRC channel, but I have never used it.
