[Noisebridge-discuss] Other Mill for Noisebridge?

Jim,

That mill is in the machine shop. It is not a CNC mill. But it seems to be a good one. Is also like to learn how to use it. You know anyone who can teach us, and anyone else who wants to learn?

Best,
Mitch.

What happened to the mill that Highland
      Technologies

gave us (isn't it still in the "dirty shop", south-west

      corner?

I'd be interested in learning how to use a mill; I've

got at least one project that desperately needs a mill.

Other Mill is a robust CNC milling machine made by
a small company here in the Mission.

Maybe you saw it when they came to Noisebridge a few months ago
and gave a demo. It's really nice for making PCBs (amongst
        other things).

They really want to sell us one of their machines, at a 5%
discount. That would come to ~$2,100.

Do you think there's enough interest for raising the funds to
        get one for Noisebridge?

        Mitch.
