[Noisebridge-discuss] elevator broken still?

Hey all,


   I'm assuming the elevator is still broken.  This has kept me from entering the space for over a month now and is...a bummer.  I would really like to attend the NB 10th anniversary, especially cause someone asked me to present.  as that date comes closer, I am wondering if it is time to make a formal ADA / accessibility complaint with the landlord, or even just write a concerned letter.  It is their responsibility to make repairs like this within 30 days AFAIK.  That said, I do not want to jeopardize NB in any way and piss off the powers that be.  I do feel this is a little ridiculous though, whatever "custom" thing it is, the LL can spend some damn money and find an expert if needed.  Sometimes they need a push to stop dragging their feet and doing every little thing on the cheap.

Brian says that they have to buy a custom gate which is proving to be a pain since apparently the whole elevator is bespoke, custom engineering.  The elevator physically works but the broken gate is physically obstructing the elevator and creating a dangerous situation.
