Dear Noisebridge,



Chabot Space and Science Center would like to invite you to our first annual Tinkerfest taking place on April 22nd, 2017. Tinkerfest is a one-day festival that celebrates the creative, curious, and innovative spirit in all of us. Tinkerfest brings together makers, artists, and tinkerers to showcase their work while inviting attendees of all ages to join in DIY fun. During the daylong event, the entire Center will be activated, both interior and exterior spaces, with activities that highlight creativity and curiosity.  A hallmark area of Tinkerfest is the “take apart” zone where tinkerers can see, touch, and learn how something works by assisting in dismantling it. Tinkerfest is geared towards a family audience but intriguing for everyone! The event is a platform for where all ages can experiment and learn together.



We are inviting local partners to showcase their work and lead interactive, hands on making activities and workshops during the one-day event. We think your group would be a great fit as you promote positive creative investigation. We are in the midst of planning the programming and would love to hear from your to see if there is any capacity to which we can collaborate and partner for this event. All participants will be invited to a VIP reception the night before the event and will be promoted through our P.R. and marketing efforts.
