Hi Everyone,
I'm new to Noisebridge, which is a little crazy, given my interests! But
anyways, here I am now.
My company Sifteo is looking for an on-call lab tech - we are not in dire
need right now, but I'd like to meet some people who are generally available
for the duties listed below.

*Contract Lab technician
*
*Term of employment:*
- Contract, on-call resource in San Francisco, or general area. 10-20
hours per week
*Responsibilities:*
- Will be responsible for supporting the R&D engineers in the
Engineering lab.
- Will help in prototyping and debugging new digital, analog and RF
circuitry.
- Will assist engineers in support and debug of circuitry down to the
component level.
*Requirements:*
- AA degree (2 year) in Electronics, minimum
- 5+ years of experience in small, R&D engineering Lab environments
- Extensive experience in prototyping and debugging complex digital and
analog electronic circuits – includes soldering through hole and surface
mount components
- Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits down to the component
level
- Experience with standard lab equipment and lab organization methods
- Experience with RF circuitry a plus
- Experience with Electro-mechanical assemblies a plus
- Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
- Ability to document procedures and rework instructions, as needed
