You could even take it to a more extreme level in order to get your
message out; such as hax0ring all the things and
risking 30+ years in prison for violation of FCC laws by utilizing a
USRP (universal software radio peripheral) + OpenBTS to force
everyone's GSM cellphone within a 20 meter radius to pair up with your
BTS... then you could simply text message everyone at the same time.

There are also other illegal things you could do like prevent people's
wifi from pairing up with the legit access points so that only your
access point seems to be available.

OK... I'm going to go sit under a bridge now and take a nap.
