I'm leading a team at Microsoft Research up in Redmond building a software-as-a-service based on our research in security. We are hiring and I wanted to let people at Noisebridge know. Right now we have two positions, one in development and one in "program management" but I am always interested to hear from people. Please don't hesitate to email me directly if you want to learn more, even if neither of the positions is an exact fit.

Here's what we're looking for right now

1) We need a developer who is comfortable building a web site front end, back end, and pieces of a cloud service that works with the Microsoft Azure APIs. We're using C#, Angular.JS, and F#. Functional programming expertise is a plus, but if you're willing to learn, not required. The full job posting is here:

"Senior Research Software Design Engineer"

2) We need someone who likes the idea of calling people up on the phone and talking to them about what they need, what they want, and how they want what they want delivered to them. Then that person needs to work with me to prioritize the results and help me decide what to do next.

"Senior Program Manager"

Both positions are based in Redmond. We may have other openings in the future. Again, if this sounds interesting to you let me know and I'm happy to talk more.
