Hi:

Do you want benefits? Do you want to pick 3 days a week that you will
work, and do whatever the fuck you want with the rest of the week? Do you
want flexible hours? Do you want to work for an organization that doesn't
gross you out?

Then maybe you want to take my job! We're looking for someone to work as a
contractor for 9 weeks starting in early October, then come back 1-3 months
after that as an actual staff member with benefits. This job requires more
troubleshooting aptitude than IT experience, and is a combination light
network admin/sysadmin/infosec/helpdesk gig - basically you're their
one-person IT shop, and many of our processes are proprietary because we're
a small nonprofit and have to design clever workaround systems a lot. I
think this job is probably best suited to someone slightly "underqualified"
on paper but self-teaches real quick, or someone "overqualified" that has
other commitments (freelance, music, working on your motorcycle, etc.).

We usually hover around 30 people in size, and have headquarters in
Berkeley, with 5 small international offices. Please do get in touch if
you're interested!
