Occupy has taken over a long vacant building at 888 Turk St in SF and is
re-purposing it as community center This action was well planned and
smoothly executed --- there is a large crowd and great enthusiasm in the
air!

Folks are now planning how they might proceed to hold this building
(According to SF Parcel info the owner is the Archdiocese of SF:
http://gispubweb.sfgov.org/website/sfparcel/showlotinfo.asp?LotIDValue=0744009).

The facility has power, but limited water and sanitation (until such
service can be restored). There's really spotty internet access from the
back porch and roof via SF Housing Authority's open wifi --- if it can be
held I will try to install a directional link to the SFHA network
tomorrow!

I encourage folks to bring their supplies and join this action, it's quite
impressive and inspiring.
