The name should be a name that works as an email address; the list
address will be <whatever>@lists.noisebridge.net, so please suggest what
you'd like for the <whatever>.

patterns we currently use.

Generally,
 - the name should be one or two words
 - it's going to be all lowercase
 - hyphens or _ or . can be used, but I generally prefer hyphen
 - abbreviations like "tech" are common
