The SSH key you just generated is only practically useful for SSH
public-key based authentication, I don't think it would be of much use
for secure birthday invitations. :p

If you're looking for that kind of thing, check out GnuPG / gpg. I

Jake did indeed setup a wiki page that he linked me too. It was all
that was needed to setup an account (though the UID listed, 31337, is
already taken by user "j" -- you might consider changing that on the
page).
