[Rack] Anyone managing their own mail server?

I've heard people mention using Dovecot as a mail server.  I'm curious if
anyone is deploying anything similar for either work or personal (or
both).  Has anyone switched to a cloud service (Gmail, etc) because they
couldn't manage their own mail server?
