[Rack] mediawiki syntax

hi,

anybody know how to force mediawiki links to open in a new window? Not 
globally, just on a case-by-case basis.

in html, you add target="_blank"

info i found so far indicates no way to do it, unless you mod the core 
or add an extension. Or javascript, which i would not want to bother 
with just for some links.
