even if you're right, it seems like most trolling on Discuss comes from 
hushmail and temporary services (i have not had time to collate them). 
If that's accurate then we can say with statistical confidence that 
trolls prefer anonymous/temporary email accounts.

Therefor, blocking such accounts would reduce trolling.

(Andy, i thought "trolling" is a forum/email list phenomenon of posting 
intentionally provocative messages, and maliciously altering webpages is 
called "hacking". no?)
