Hi --

Last night around 7:30pm, the Mode-S receiver that's up on the roof
stopped working. I can think of a number of things that might have
happened:

- It actually died

This seems a little unlikely, because it's a pretty robust little
package and has seen a lot more abuse that it gets on the roof in SF.
It's also possible that the cable has become pinched somehow on its way
to the roof.

- Someone unplugged it?

This has happened before (multiple times, actually). It has a POE power
wart near the bottom of the stairs that lead to the roof in the
northwest corner of the space. You can see the grey ethernet cable
going up to the roof from there.

- Someone unplugged it from the switch port that it uses?

This *also* has happened multiple times, for reasons that remain unclear
to me.

Was anyone in the space last night around that time making any
network/power changes? The IP address it is assigned is 172.30.0.52,
which is unresponsive today.

Failing that, is there anyone who is presently in the space who could
take a look for me? Or will be there sometime soon? Of course I'm out
of town this week or I'd come over and take a look.

Thanks!
