[Redshirts] Alex & Pooch

This is a interim report from the front desk. Alex, a relatively new guy,
who's been at the last couple meetings, blonde hair, ex-marine, has a
younger dog, was here earlier this eve with his dog which has been
discussed fairly frequently recently. I asked him to take his dog out of
the space, and to return to the meeting tomorrow sans dog. Rather than
leaving immediately he finished some things and made his way out.

I just went to step outside and bumped in to him locking his dog in front
of the second floor elevator between the glass doors so he could come up
and use the computers. I had a fairly lengthy conversation of how IMHO that
was not excellent, and asked him again to leave the space, and return to a
meeting, and that he already agreed to that a couple hours earlier and was
already back.

I CC'd Kevin as this seems to be something that could be more helped via a
separate mediation rather than drawn out discussion at the weekly meeting
going in circles. There have also been numerous references to escalating
this and taking it to the next level, along with a general tone of
non-violence and the absence of lawyers, so don't quite know how that plays
out.

On a separate related note, I think it would be wise in the future to
expand the parameters of asking people to leave to include the area in
front of noisebridge, as getting people out of the space, only to then
become the first thing everyone has to see/deal with upon walking up to the
space hasn't helped things much.
