[Security] A new CTF development

As some of you are aware, I have been talking both with people from dc949
and CCC about creating an international CTF contest. For those not in the
know, CTF is "capture the flag", a series of challenges ranging from
security to trivia to forensics where you compete against other teams for
points.

So, there's been a new development. I spent yesterday in Baltimore meeting
with a friend of mine who is well connected in the DC area. According to
him, SANS (www.sans.org) has a lot of CTF images they are willing to donate
to Noisebridge, with the caveat we design our own images of challenges for
them.

I think this is a golden opportunity for Noisebridge to demonstrate talent,
and get a really positive reputation. To me, this means we could be
designing images which train security professionals and government workers.
It's a chance to have a direct impact on how well people understand security
and are able to both protect against vulnerabilities, and could encourage
them to design policies which make more sense. I personally love the idea of
someone discovering Noisebridge because their work sent them to a training
session and they learned from our challenges.

What do you guys think? I'll make a formal announcement at the Noisebridge
meeting on Tuesday to see what the response is.
