[Sewing] Blind hem machine?

What is people's opinion on getting one of these for Noisebridge? My
coworker is selling hers for $200, which is $100 less than the cheapest
price I've found online. It's in excellent condition, hardly used.
It's an RX-518, which is not an industrial machine but is a commercial
one, meaning it's intended for professionals like alterations or drapery
shops. So it's gonna be plenty heavy duty for us.

What do you all think? Should we band together and buy it? I'm in for
$30 easily, anyone else think this would be useful?

Rachel

For those who don't know, a blind hem machine only does hems, but it
does them really fast, really accurately, and nearly invisibly. Check
the bottom of a pair of dress pants - that's what it does.
