I admit, I've never done a hybrid.  In my opinion, unless you're going
pretty high they're inefficient because of the extra weight and they're
usually a lot longer than a standard solid motor.  Start-up costs are also
more expensive because you also have to buy, build, or borrow a ground
station to fill up the motor on the launch pad.  But in the long run I guess
it's normally cheaper for the fuel and gas.
