[Tastebridge] Kombucha - Check #1

[TeeTrizZz]

I checked again. The ‘mold’ is now in both pots. I’m pretty sure it’s nothing but tea.

One SCOBY is now swimming at the top. The other SCOBY is floating around. Looks alright.

Throw away the 'mold', put the fabric cover back on the bucket, wait 24 hours and then check again...

  That looks a lot like mold to me, which would not be good - if you're still at NB, maybe you could try to remove it with a large soon, and we'll see if it re-forms? I'm not sure I'll make it by today, but will definitely be there tomorrow.
