These guys are very nice and it would be great if we could support  
them somehow. I wonder what a keg of local high quality beer would  
feel like at Noisebridge :-)) (we have all the tap system I believe).

Some great news to report

It's official. Local Brewing Co. and Thirsty Bear Brewing are teaming
up to brew one of Local Brewing Co.'s original recipes for SF Beer
Week 2011! If you aren't familiar, SF Beer Week is one of the biggest
beer gatherings in the west. There are literally hundreds of beer
events that will take place in SF the week of Feb. 11-20 (learn more
at www.sfbeerweek.org).

We are very excited! After 6+ years of brewing in our garage, this
will be the first time Local Brewing Co. beer will be served from
legitimate taps – an accomplishment we're proud of, and you should be
too! After all, your local feedback has made our beer even better.

We'll send out more details over the next few weeks, but in short,
Thirsty Bear will have one of Local Brewing Co.'s beers on tap
throughout SF Beer Week. We're also working with a couple of our
favorite bars and restaurants to have our brew on tap around The City
during that week (details to come). If know a place that might be
interested in pre-ordering one of our limited release kegs, do let us
know. We only have a few remaining.

Help celebrate and support

This is an amazing opportunity, and we hope that you – our Local
Coalition – will help us celebrate during SF Beer Week. Come out and
hang with us at one or more of our events (dates/locations coming),
and spread the word. Our goal is to run all of the taps dry, and we
need your help. And, we'll have a couple contests to reward those who
help us reach that goal.

Get involved: here's how

* Communicate: Spread the word about LBC brew on tap during SFBW to
friends, family and co-workers. Feel free to forward this email.
* Participate: Bring your friends (and have them bring their friends)
to LBC events during SF Beer Week.
* Motivate: Post event info on Facebook and Twitter
* Commemorate: Take photos at events and post in social media
* Stay up-to-date: Follow our SF Beer Week Blog (see below:  
www.localbrewingco.blogspot.com
)

Stay up to date on our plans and learn about our events by following
the LBC SF Beer Week blog: www.localbrewingco.blogspot.com. We'll
announce the LBC recipe we're brewing with Thirty Bear, locations of
events and taps carrying LBC brew, contests, and more. Feel free to
post comments to the blog and send us updates on your efforts!
