Thanks Stan, someone around to help out? I'm still far far away (at lest in my physical form :-)) and it would be lovely to find a kitchen at Noisebridge when I'm around again :-)

Take care,

Sincerely,

FAA

Subject: [Noisebridge-discuss] kitchen preparations

Please be aware of the cockroaches living on the kitchen tile
counter under objects holding tools and spices.  They've been
there long enough to have babies.  Last Friday I saw many tiny
ones and a few bigger ones.  I first noticed medium sized ones
about two weeks ago.

Dawn Ultra速 dishwashing liquid is effective in controlling many
insicets including the German cockroach (Blattella germanica).
Proper use causes 100% mortality.

There are many people using the kitchen throughout the day, but
they are not actively working on discouraging or eradicating
cockroaches.  Regular thorough cleaning of all kitchen surfaces
using Dawn Ultra, and the continued stocking and use of Down
Ultra is rcommended.

The rodent / mouse problem is well know.  At the moment only
mice are seen late at night.  They are somewhat tame and will
walk around the kitchen area and elsewhere while people continue
to work.  Occasionally there are discussions about catching
mice a live and then releasing them outside.   Perhaps live
traps for both mice and rats, with immediate relocation should
be a regular NB activity?

Stan
